Thumbnails Disappeared!!

I had a problem this week with the display of thumbnails in Windows file Explorer, which occured after using the Nero removal tool to completely uninstall Nero Essentials. The thumbnails for MPEG files was showing but all WMV thumbnails disappeared leaving just the icon. If you get this problem it is easily solved by the following method.

Go START
Select RUN
Type " REGSVR32 SHMEDIA.DLL" (without the " ")
Press RETURN
You should see a message that says that the command was successful
Hey Presto! the thumbnails are back.
